Yun Grooming’s Tips
Mixing & matching skin care products
Yun tends to choose a different formula and ingredient from a natural and organic brand. You may have been told that adding products from different brands will make the other products you are using ineffective, or not work as well as they could. None of this is true in the least. It is perfectly good to mix and match products from different brands. Yun will choose more hydrating skin care as the air in the flight is dry. Lip balm and nail manicure oil is part of Yun’s skin routine too. Don’t forget to add serum to your skin care routine as it will boost your skin moisture level and fight towards ageing.
Oil Control Face Makeup
Yun chooses makeup products that suit his skin type and skin concerns. He uses oil control loose powder to keep shine-free, matte and fresh look throughout a day. There are some steps to apply oil control loose powder.
Step 1. Touch puff to powder and shake gently to avoid excess powder.
Step 2. Apply puff lightly over face.
Step 3. Use puff to blend and whisk away any loose powder.
Step 4. Wear alone or over makeup.
Keeping It Fresh
Every man should aware of their bad breath. Yun will bring a toothbrush and mouthwash onboard. Besides brushing your teeth, a fresh mint mouth spray could kill the germs that cause bad breath. Yun will also avoid foods that sour the breath especially onions and garlic. Apart from that, When it comes to personal hygiene, smelling bad is one of our worst fears. Deodorant plays a role to prevent bad odour. As for the deodorant, use a little talcum powder before applying deodorant.

Personalised skincare routine
- Winky use Face Mask
Everyone should use mask into their skincare routine. For just 15 to 20 minutes a day, your skin will go through a noticeable transformation that you can see and feel. You may look silly doing it, but that makes it all the more fun. When Winky travel abroad, she will buy Korea sheet face masks which could make the skin look nice and hydrated at all times. Korean sheet face masks are great for giving your skin extra moisture on the go or when you don’t feel like going through an entire routine.
Winky also warns: “Sunscreens tend to contain either chemical or physical UV filters. If you are prone to allergies, try to go for sunscreens containing physical UV filters; the ingredients to look out for are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.” Apart from that, Winky always protect her lip with a lip balm with SPF.
Vitamin C supplements
Winky will take water-soluble Vitamin C which could provide her all-day skin protection. Vitamin C’s ability to stimulate collagen production does wonder for the skin. Vitamin C creates a brighter complexion and evens out skin tone while diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Working onboard, Immunity is important. Vitamin C provides her with a range of benefits especially contribute to boosting the immune system and stimulates white blood vessels in the body. That’s a big secret of winky to keeping her skin looking younger.
- Water keeps skin supple.
Winky realizes that when a person is severely dehydrated, the skin is less elastic. Water keeps your throat and lips moist and prevents your mouth from feeling dry. Drinking Water can maintain the optimum skin moisture especially the environment in the aircraft is dry. This helps delay the appearance of signs of ageing like wrinkles and fine lines. Drink more water could prevent dry mouth that causes bad breath.
- Face Mist Spray
Winky said that facial mist is a must for all cabin crew. The facial mist spray with rosewater, green tea or pure natural mineral water spray can instantly refresh and helps to boost hydration on the skin, and set make-up. Another way to increase your skin’s hydration is by layering an application of face mist in between your skincare and makeup products. For example, you could mist before applying moisturizer, again before primer, and again before foundation. With each step, you’re sealing in the moisture—the end result will be a plumper, dewier skin look.
